  • Norwegian orders 30 Boeing 737 aircraft

    Norwegian is expanding the existing Boeing order by exercising its option to purchase 30 additional Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, bringing the total firm order to 80 aircraft. In connection with the option exercise, Norwegian and Boeing have agreed to adjust certain delivery dates, with the final aircraft in the order now scheduled for delivery in 2031.

  • 1.2 million passengers travelled with Norwegian in October

    Norwegian’s traffic figures for October show a continued increase in the number of passengers and for the first time since the pandemic broke out more than one million passengers travelled with the company during a one month period. Demand has continued to respond well and our customers appreciate our direct flights to popular destinations in the Nordic countries and across Europe.

  • Traffic Figures August 2009

    The total number of passengers flown in August 2009 was 1,007,623 compared to 857,136 last year, an increase of 150,487 passengers (18 %). Compared to the same period last year: - Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 9 % - Total capacity (ASK) increased by 7 % - The load factor was 81 %, up 2 p.p.

  • Traffic Figures July 2009

    The total number of passengers flown in July 2009 was 1,048,684 compared to 900,983 last year, an increase of 147,701 passengers (16 %).
    Compared to the same period last year:- Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 10 % - Total capacity (ASK) increased by 9 %- The load factor was 88 %, up 1 p.p.
