Norwegian launches new Dreamliner route from New York to Bergen, Norway
Norwegian launches yet another Dreamliner route from New York’s JFK airport. The beautiful city of Bergen on the west coast of Norway is a new destination from New York next summer. Bergen is known as «The Gateway to the Fjords of Norway».
“New York-Bergen has been a long-awaited route and I’m very happy to announce that for the first time in decades, the U.S. and Bergen will get its first direct connection. Norwegian’s routes between Scandinavia and New York have been very well received, and I am looking forward to welcoming even more Americans on board our brand new Dreamliners on our non-stop service to Bergen,” said CEO Bjørn Kjos.

This service brings our continents closer and will benefit the local trade and industry as well as tourism. Bergen – New York once a week
Norwegian
vil operate one weekly flight between New York (JFK) and Bergen (BGO).
Departure from JKF is Fridays at 9.30 p.m. local time, arriving BGO at 10.35
a.m. the following day.
The first flight from JFK departs on May 9, 2014. The route will be in service until September 27.
The launch fare is $178 one way and tickets will be available for sale today.
