New Head of Corporate Communications in Norwegian
Anne-Sissel Skånvik has been appointed Senior Vice President Corporate Communications for Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA. Skånvik will be member of the Group Executive Management team and report to Chief Executive Officer Bjørn Kjos. Skånvik begins her new position 16 February 2009.
Anne-Sissel Skånvik (49) has 30 years of experience working with corporate communications and journalism. She has a Masters degree in political science (”Cand. Polit”) from the University of Oslo and has also a degree in journalism. Skånvik comes from a position as Senior Vice President in Telenor ASA. She has also held the position of Deputy Director General in The Ministry of Finance and has worked as a journalist for many years for various Norwegian newspapers.

As well as overall responsibility for external and internal communication, including government affairs, Skånvik will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company’s profile across all divisions.
