Norwegian puts on sale record number low-cost flights to the U.S. for Brits

Low-cost airline Norwegian has released a record number of seats for holiday-seeking Brits looking to jet away this summer to the U.S. 425,000 seats are now available on Norwegian’s direct flights between the UK and U.S. which include Norwegian’s two latest low-cost destinations – Boston and San Francisco-Oakland with fares from £135.

Today Norwegian took delivery of its first 787-9 Dreamliner. “This marks our continued commitment to the company’s global expansion ensuring travellers across that world access to high quality flights at a low fare,” Norwegian’s CEO Bjørn Kjos said.

The Norwegian group is a leading Nordic aviation company, headquartered at Fornebu outside Oslo, Norway. Mainly operating the short-runway airports in rural Norway, Widerøe operates several state contract routes (PSO routes) in addition to its own commercial network. In 2023, the airline had 3.3 million passengers and a fleet of 48 aircraft, including 45 Bombardier Dash 8’s and three Embraer E190-E2's. Widerøe Ground Handling provides ground handling services at 41 Norwegian airports.
