Traffic Figures July 2009

The total number of passengers flown in July 2009 was 1,048,684 compared to 900,983 last year, an increase of 147,701 passengers (16 %).
Compared to the same period last year:
- Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 10 %
- Total capacity (ASK) increased by 9 %
- The load factor was 88 %, up 1 p.p.

The total number of passengers flown in June was close to 977 000, an increase of more than 130 000 passengers or 15 per cent compared to June 2008.

Strong passenger growth for Norwegian in April

The total number of passengers flown in April was 861 530, an increase of 18 per cent. The domestic growth in Norway is even larger with 23 per cent growth in the number of passengers. From the recently established base in Denmark more than 95 000 passengers chose to travel with Norwegian in April.

In 2024, the airline had 3.8 million passengers and a fleet of 49 aircraft, including 46 Bombardier Dash 8’s and three Embraer E190-E2's. Widerøe Ground Handling provides ground handling services at 41 Norwegian airports.
